Just the facts. As reported by others buying reconditioned Karcher products, the unit comes on wheels in a cardboard box w/o padding, and is free to roll back and forth 2-4 inches. My box had 2 holes in it where the handle stubs had pushed through. Had to re-round one of the holes in order to insert the top part of the handle. Accessory bracket would not mount on left side (no holes). Installed on right side it would have been upside down. Had to remove handle, pop out 4 plastic plugs to remove plastic shield holding spray tips, turn the handle over, reattach the shield, re-attach the handle, then attach the accessory bracket. Took one look at the 1/4" 25' plastic high pressure hose and discarded it. Unbelievably cheap junk. Ordered online from an independent supplier a high quality 3/8" inch 50' hose with quick disconnects ($54). Bought necessary quick disconnects for washer unit from Home Depot-about $13). Checked everything required, added oil, Honda engine started on the first pull (but you already knew that). Used washer for approximately 3 hours each of 3 consecutive days. Washer pump began surging too badly for use on the third day. Checked for adequate water pressure, hose kinks, dirty water filter, etc. Consulted manual and ran vinegar through hose wand and tips. No help. Called Karcher, was told to take it to an authorized repair center. It is there now-either needs a new unloader valve (notoriously bad with Karcher-Google it) or needs a new pump. This with less than 10 hrs. use. I was lucky to be within the 30 day warranty period. While the unit worked it was very good and powerful and adequate for residential use. The chassis is very sturdy, good pneumatic tires, and a good Honda engine. I fully expect the pump to go out again, and will look for a replacement made by someone other than Karcher. They cost about $150 minimum, and go up with quality. CPO shipped the unit very quickly, sells reconditioned merchandise of many brands, and has no control over the quality of what they sell from Karcher. I would not buy Karcher again, but would buy from CPO. Pay more money, buy a pressure washer with a horizontal shaft Honda or Subaru engine (supposedly last longer and fittings are more accessible), preferably with a CAT or comparable pump. Be sure you get a 3/8" 50' hose, quick disconnects and 4 tips. Units such as this can be found on-line from various sources. Just the facts. MY total cost $337.
